50 years ago today, Rod Stewart release his very first single, his take on the blues classic ‘Good Morning Little Schoolgirl’!
Shortly after this release, Rod made his solo debut on the UK’s “Ready, Steady, Go!”
Though the single did not make the charts, Rod obviously did not stop there and went on to a career still going 50 years later.

Rod Stewart is bringing “The Hits” to Australia and New Zealand in 2015!
