Rod, you have been one of my favorites for a very long time and have been to a number of concerts around the US. Just an FYI, I first saw you as a warm-up group to James Taylor at Williams & Mary;s College in the 70's, you were the lead singer for "Faces". Wow, does that date me or what???? Keep it up....

***New Fantasy Alert: I dream of going to see Rod Stewart in Vegas. Dressing like old Hollywood, in a long, red satin gown, with my hair in a messy up do. And flirting with my hot husband all night long. OH! What a night that would be...
Where else..
To get a message to you...will you ever come to spokane? Love and wishes

Hi Rod,
First, I would like to say I love your music, I grew up listening to you and when I was a child, some of my fondest memories are of my Dad turning up "I am sailing" waving his hands above his head and the rest of us immediately joining in. This is why when I saw you were coming to Sydney in February 2012 I jumped online and bought tickets as a Christmas gift for my parents. I know they will be thrilled on Christmas morning when they open up tickets to your concert! I'm not sure if you take requests or not but on Wednesday, 15 February 2012 if you could please consider playing "I am sailing" that would be the most amazing thing for my loving parents, Gail and Kevin.
Thank you for being you and making the wonderful music we all know and love so much. I know you don't know me but you are such a part of my memories I treasure, as you are for so many others.
I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas - I hope you all enjoy a wonderful celebration together.
All the best,
Jaclyn x

I was fortunate enough to have front row seats for the Nov.13th show at Ceasars for mine and my husbands birthday that we share, as well as our 17th anniversary. Rod was AMAZING ! He not only acknowledged my red plaid skirt and my husbands jersey...he accepted the red rose I gave him, and at the end, called me up on stage to hand me a soccer ball and a kiss on the cheek !
It took 2 days of running my horses full speed through the hills to get the pent up excitement down to a level where I can actually breathe again !
If you get the opportunity to see Rod perform don't even THINK about hesitating ! He puts on a more energetic and fun show than any performer half his age and after all this time he can still kick a soccer ball not only to the third tier balcony...but with precision !
His songs are, as he, an American legend and he sang every note from the heart.
Best show I've ever been to, you won't be disappointed !

I was so lucky to fly into Vegas on 09-11-11 and get to see Rod Stewart for his final performance of that round of shows. Really folks go see it. He gave me his tie (It was better than jumping off the Stratosphere in Vegas which I also did) and must have kicked at least 30 autographed balls into the audience during Hot Legs. It was fabulous. He's replaced Don Henley as my fave artist - Don is a poet but Moody and Grumpy....brilliant in his own way .......but Rod was a fan pleasing delight allowing photos and interacting with the audience at a level that thrilled me. The show at Vegas is The Hits......I only hope I get the chance to see him perform from The Great American Songbook one day.....I was born in 1968 a little to late for all of this but they are the best songs ever and Rod recreated them with MAGIC. Mwahhhhhh.

I'd love to see Rod again, I remember a few years ago my husband had an occassion to meet his keyboard player and he provided him with 2 tickets to a show at Market Square Arena here in Indianapolis, In. I was lucky enough to get a shirt signed by all the band members (except Rod). I treasure that shirt, I never wear it and it looks like new. Anyway I wish you well Rod in Vegas and want to thank you for all the good memories I have had in life that I can remember so many were set to your music.
