It was a total fiasco trying to get into the Castle - hope Rod heard the boos from the mass of people stuck outside when he started, we had all paid a lot of money and arrived in plenty of time, yet were forced into missing the beginning of the gig through no fault of our own. The strange thing was that all of a sudden the queue started moving quickly suggesting that someone had been holding it back until that point - I'm sure a lot of people would like to meet whoever was responsible! Despite that the musicians were amazing and Rod's vocal delivery fantastic, but he did give the impression he didn't want to be there and was desperate to leave - he needs to remember that the people getting absolutely soaked watching him are what allows him to live his extremely priveledged lifestyle. A little bit of appreciation of the audience would have made such a difference, after all many of them had to save up for the ticket, take holidays from work, travel long distances and stay overnight in a hotel just to see him!

The biggest event in Israel this yesr was when my idol Rod came to Israel. I was on his tour in Israel back then on 1983, I was then 19 years old. It was like a dream when I heard that he will be touring Israel again on 2010. The concert day came and this time I was in the concert with my wife, 2 Rod fans. what can I say about this concert? it was breath taken and I was like a little kid in a candy store. Rod looked like the time stopped from the last time I see him. the same voice, sexy, looking good, dancing, fulling around with the football on stage, the old songs which I know by heart, the electricity on the air and the crowed singing with him and making all like it should be. 2 hours of loosing your mind on the high level you can get and all of the crowed just loved him and let him know how much we waited and missed him. The band, singers, the stage were part of him and make a great conecrt with him. he show us some funny pictures and move of him and get the crowed involved in his story. in every song, all of the crowed sing with him and Rod was surprised from our singing and the love which we gave him. Whithout even know how, the concert ended and I could not belive that it over. Rod got back to the stage for another 3 songs and thank us for a great time and evening. It's been over only 2 weeks and i feel like it was like a dream. In our small counrty, event like this is a big matter and I hope to see him again soon. Rod, we are waiting for you again here in Israel, please come soon.
