Rod Stewart To Headline NOLA Jazz Fest

Rod Stewart will headline the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Saturday, April 28, stepping in for Aretha Franklin who on the advice of her doctors is unable to perform. The 2018 Festival is scheduled for April 27 – 29 and May 3 – 6.

In a written statement, Ms. Franklin’s management stated:

“Aretha Franklin has been ordered by her doctor to stay off the road and rest completely for at least the next two months. She is extremely disappointed she cannot perform at this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival as she had expected and hoped to.”

Rod Stewart has been confirmed to headline on Saturday, April 28.

Other artists scheduled to appear at the 2018 Jazz Fest include:

Aerosmith, Sting, Jimmy Buffett and his Acoustic Airmen, Jack White, Beck, Lionel Richie, David Byrne, Anita Baker, Bonnie Raitt, Khalid, Sturgill Simpson, Jack Johnson, Sheryl Crow, Common, Cage the Elephant, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Revivalists, Steve Miller Band, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Smokey Robinson, LL Cool J, Juanes, Lyle Lovett & His Large Band, Toots & The Maytals, Aaron Neville and hundreds more.
