Faces Set to Play Charity Gig

Ladies & Gents, the time has come… Saturday 5 September 2015 marks the reunion of the Faces.

The Faces

Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, and Kenney Jones are set to join the stage together for a short set at the 2015 Prostate Cancer UK charity gig, Rock ‘n’ Horsepower at Hurtwood Park Polo Club in Ewhurst, Surrey.

“This year is the 40th anniversary since The Faces parted ways so it’s about time we got together for a jam! Being in The Faces back in the day was a whirlwind of madness but my God, it was beyond brilliant. We are pleased to be able to support Prostate Cancer UK.” – Rod Stewart

“This is the third Rock ‘n’ Horsepower we’ve put on for Prostate Cancer UK and it’s shaping up to be the biggest yet. The years of The Faces were some of the best of my life and I’m so proud to have been a part of the band. I’m unbelievably excited to have the opportunity to get up on stage with Rod and Ronnie again. Ronnie Lane and Ian McLagan will be dearly missed but we’ll raise a glass to them.” – Kenney Jones

Ronnie added. “Getting back on stage with the lads playing ‘Stay with Me’ and other favourites will be a blast and will make this a very special night. Being in The Faces was a mad and brilliant time for all of us and although we don’t have Ronnie and Mac with us anymore this is our chance to remember them and say “Had Me a Real Good Time”

Other artists will be added to the lineup soon. Tickets for the charity event are on sale now via Eventbrite!

In addition to this very special gig, a vinyl box set will be re-released including all four of The Faces albums and singles on 28th August titled “You Can Make Me Dance, Sing or Anything (1970-1975)’. The box set is available for pre-order here.

“Another Country” Out October 23

Rod Stewart - Another Country

The brand new studio album Another Country by Rod Stewart is set to be released October 23rd via Capitol Records! One of rock’s most gifted storytellers is back to continue the story he began with 2013’s Time.

“I’ve found that the only way to write songs is to be as personal and honest as possible, And when my last album was so well-received it gave me the confidence to keep on writing, and to examine and write about different things. It also gave me the freedom to experiment with different sounds like reggae, ska and Celtic melodies.” – Rod Stewart

Beginning now, fans who pre-order the 12-song standard version of Another Country will receive an instant download of first single off the album “Love Is“. Fans who pre-order the 15-song deluxe album will receive an instant download of “Love Is” and “In A Broken Dream”, the infamous 1968 Python Lee Jackson song whose vocals by a then unknown Rod Stewart are now heard on A$AP Rocky’s “Everyday”.

Another Country was recorded in Stewart’s home while closely collaborating with co-producer Kevin Savigar.

“It seems like I’ve spent years of my life in a recording studio so being able to record this album at home, where most of the songs were written, felt so much more intimate and inspiring.” – Rod Stewart
